Music Needs Extra Hands

Help me give my students an universal height adjustable tripod laptop/projector stands and a music stand.

My Students

I teach music to special needs middle schoolers. My students have disabilities such as mild to severe intellectual disability, physical disabilities that make some students wheelchair bound, and autism. Some students have multiple disabilities. I love the fact that disabilities give my students special abilities! I have been blessed to discover ways to communicate, learn, and express feelings together with my students using music. My students have taught me what works for them. Combining their wisdom and my musical knowledge, music making has been truly rewarding here at LMS.

My Project

I play the piano, sometimes strum a ukulele while I sing. I need extra hands! Some of my students have limited mobility in their hands/arms and are wheelchair bound, but they do not want to be limited by their disabilities!

Instead of having another person to hold instruments for them in order to play, the music stands and projector/laptop stands can do that job for me and my students!

The adjustable height/angle stands are perfect for holding multiple small percussion instruments making them readily accessible to students with mobility issues. The stands are portable and fold into carrying bags making it easier to go from the classroom to other locations such as auditorium and gym.
