My students need some groovy tunes to enhance their learning! A portable speaker and bluetooth microphones will allow my elementary students to hear instructions clearly and enjoy music while participating in PE.
My students are smart, passionate, and curious learners. Our diverse population includes students from a number of different countries, representing over 30 different spoken languages.
As the saying goes, "if the bum is numb, the brain is the same." We need to get our children moving!
Exercise positively impacts mood and brain chemistry by releasing serotonin and reducing the stress hormone cortisol. Physical activity directly and positively influences student academic performance and health.
As a physical educator, I strive to provide students with a safe, fun, and engaging environment in which to learn. All of my students, K-5, enjoy participating in new, challenging, and fun PE classes designed to improve skill performance and fitness.

I work at a school with a large population. When we have outdoor PE, my voice must compete to be heard over the noise of classes at recess and the adjacent PE class.
This portable speaker system will allow my students to enjoy mood-lifting and motivating music while exercising during outdoor PE. The bluetooth microphones will allow my students to clearly hear my directions.
Our PE team currently has one reliable portable speaker system, and we love it! Because we teach in three different locations (the gym, a field space, and a blacktop area), right now only one PE class gets to use a speaker with enough of a charge to last the entire school day. Our other speaker must be plugged in to work properly. There are no convenient electrical outlets near the outdoor PE locations, and running an extension cord into the school is a safety concern. Each PE teacher will use this speaker system and microphones when they teach outdoors. This additional system and microphones will improve teacher instruction and student participation for all students!
