My Students

My students are full of life and eager to learn. Each day they walk into the classroom ready for what our day will bring. They are sponges and want to soak up everything they can through our learning activities.

My students are diverse and we work hard to meet all their needs.

Reading, Writing, Math, Social Studies and Science are among the subjects taught but I integrate music, movement, and hands-on experiences into the classroom in all subjects to reach all learners.

My Project

Recently my students finished a music residency that they enjoyed very much. I don't just want my students to have access to instruments during that residency but throughout the school year too. I would like to bring some instruments to my students through this project.

These resources will be used in many different disciplines!

Students will be able to use these instruments in structured music lessons but also during other subjects. I can see my students using them during phonics to demonstrate the amount of syllables in a word. I can also see my students using them during math to count.

I can'wait to think of other creative ways to use them too.
