Music Matters: Basic Orchestra Supplies!

My Students

Help us to be heard; our orchestra students attempt to perform while using aging equipment.

The students that will benefit from the new equipment are in junior high school, sixth through eighth grade.

They are excited and eager to learn the basics of music through their participation in orchestra. Our school is approaching thirty years old and much of the equipment is nearing the end of its useful life.

My Project

The equipment requested will help provide my students with the basic supplies necessary for their involvement in orchestra. End pin stops allow cello and bass players to hold their instruments correctly. Without the end pin stops, the instruments will constantly slide away from the students. Bass bow quivers will help maintain and protect them and their delicate hair. All these items are essential for student success.

The contribution of this essential equipment will not only positively affect the performance of the individual students, but also the entire orchestra.

New and working equipment will energize the students and help them to continue their involvement in the music program. What better gift than the gift of music?
