My Students

I have the privilege of serving the students as the lead music teacher at JVWES. Our school is one of the largest elementary schools in NC, and a large portion of our students receive free or reduced-rate lunch. The students LOVE learning and music. I hope to be able to give these students more instrument exposure and be able to replace some very outdated equipment and materials. Your donation would reach over 1,000 students and go a long way in helping a child receive a first-rate music education.

My Project

The use of instruments in a music classroom is vital to help students understand world music and cultures. I hope to provide my students with some awesome new learning opportunities with brand new instruments that they will be able to use for years to come. Students will be able to play these instruments together, gain invaluable music experiences, and lay a groundwork for a quality music education. These instruments will be used in lessons teaching students about music and cultures from around the world. Hundreds of students will be able to gain hands-on music experience and knowledge with your donation to this very worthy cause.
