Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This is my 13th year teaching at my elementary school in California. We are a TK-6th grade Title I school serving low-income students who are learning English as a second language. Our staff members devote themselves every day to providing the best education we can with the resources we are given for these amazing children.
These kids are special to me because they work hard to be the best they can be.
I want to make their learning environment as comfortable and enriching as I possibly can. They are our future!
My Project
Thank you for taking the time to read my project.
I am looking to give each one of my students their very own recorder so that we can learn how to read, play, and write music.
By each student having their very own instrument at home we can still practice in the digital learning platform. The recorder music books will help us to learn fun and engaging songs.
I want my students to still receive a well rounded education even if we are not in the classroom. By still having the ability to teach and play music this will help me achieve that goal.
