My Students

These students are eager to learn and actively participate in their own education daily! They have each other’s backs and are working hard to be citizens that allow for a positive learning environment for each other. These first graders collaborate well together and understand that they all play a part in each other’s learning. The first graders of my class engage in outstanding conversations where they have learned to gather information from one another as well as challenge each other in a respectful way. These children know how to work hard and can play hard too!

My Project

Please help us have more fun during P.E.! We love to jump rope, dribble basketballs, have relays, hula hoop, and move outside! Our teacher provides our P.E. We have a good time! It would be even more magical with music! Music is healthy and enjoyable. We want to be able to move to music during P.E. This portable outdoor speaker on wheels means we can take it anywhere we want. We can even roll it for our teacher! Then, she can choose songs from her phone to play through the speakers as we hula hoop or jump rope. She can also use the music to be the start and stop of an activity instead of a loud and annoying whistle or bullhorn. Thank you in advance for your thoughtfulness!
