My Students

My kindergarten students come to school with a wide variety of social and emotional readiness. For many children, it is their first time being in a classroom setting. Having basic supplies available for them is a must.

Keeping students engaged and excited about learning is an essential part of the kindergarten day.

Hands-on learning activities that provide students with opportunities to practice basic skills such as letter and number formation are an integral part of the kindergarten day.

My Project

I am so excited to incorporate music into our everyday learning routines! There are so many songs that teach math and language concepts. It is a wonderful thing to see kids move and dance while learning about letters, sounds, numbers, counting, patterns and so much more. Building in music and rhythm opens a whole new world and perspective in these areas that we want young children to be the most successful. The added element of this speaker being portable is amazing! We will be able to take our learning outside. The element of fun should never be overlooked as an important motivator in education. Who wouldn't want to hear the laughter and see the excitement that comes from the group of little learners as they dance, stomp, spin, and wiggle their way to absorbing all the crucial skills necessary to build their strong foundations. I can't wait to experience all the excitement that music will bring to our day!
