My students need cymbals for the drum set so that they can play in jazz band and pep band.

My Students

My band classrooms are a place of budding musicians, laughter, and great camaraderie! This year, my students are looking forward to multiple performances with great musical experiences.

My students are 6th-8th grade musicians in a rural Michigan middle school.

They are excited to be in band where they can learn about the beauty of music. My students enjoy the challenge of working together as a musical team to make something great! My students understand that music can bring people together.

My Project

This set of drum set cymbals will go to a new drum kit that we received a few years ago. When we got the drum kit, we did not get new cymbals for it because it was too expensive. We have been piecing together the drum set with concert and old drum set cymbals, but it doesn't work as well as it could.

This new cymbal set would replace old concert and drum set cymbals that are being used for a drum set.

My middle school drummers do the best that they can in jazz band, but it would make their days if they could have a cymbal set that was specifically for a drum set. The drum set is used for jazz band and also when we have a pep band performance. A good drum set, including cymbals, impacts the whole band.
