Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We are reaching for the stars and beyond because the students are motivated and striving to be the best they can become. The students in my classroom have been reaching new levels as individuals and as an ensemble. Their love and dedication for music is a pure joy to see and to work with every day at school. Their standard of excellence keeps growing stronger and higher along with their community work outside the classroom in hospitals, nursing homes and mentoring programs for the younger students! Several of the students have also been participating in honor groups in the district, state and national level, continuing their growth in music.
My Project
The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will help them reach a higher level of standard in creating the correct sounds and colors, for the enrichment of the music. The metallic sounds needed in todays' music world are becoming more critical, especially in the sound effects. With these quality wind chimes and triangle, we can help the students reach a new level of execution and wide range of colors in the ensemble.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student professional experience, you will ultimately help to increase a level of superior achievement.
The students will learn how to create and produce many different effects with these materials, and they will be used for 3 concert bands, 2 jazz bands, a percussion ensemble and a symphony orchestra. These ensembles would benefit from the wind chimes and triangle, which would have a great impact to over 200 students in the instrumental program at our school.
