My students need this speaker and headphones to incorporate music into their learning! Music helps them show their creative side and get their brains thinking!

My Students

I currently have 26 students that are working extremely hard in the classroom. They come from many different backgrounds and each have their own unique story. Each student works very hard to reach their goals day in and day out and I want to do a little extra to help them with that.

My students live in a high poverty area that doesn't always put them first.

I am always trying to find new ways to put my students first but I don't always have the money to.

My Project

Each and every day, you can walk into my classroom to find music playing in the background, students softly singing the songs or simply using it to bring themselves back into the classroom to calm down after recess.

Music has become an important part of our day.

Students use this time to show off their dance moves, create new words to songs they love, and to work on their mindfulness. As a class we spend a majority of the day with music on and love to also go outside. I would love to have a speaker we can take with us outside of the classroom.

The headphones will be used for those students who need music more often than most in the room. They will be able to listen during their individual work time.
