My Students

Instruments are essential to student learning and growth in a music program. Help me give my students some basic necessities to help build the music program for our students.

I am excited to begin this year with a group of inquisitive and energetic learners who want to know more about music.

They love hands-on activities and technology. Despite living in areas of low-income, my students come to school each day with a passion to learn. With your help, we can help our students grow and gain a deeper appreciation of the world around them through music.

My Project

All of our students want to learn to play an instrument. Our third graders have enjoyed the recorders provided last year and are hungry for more. The xylophones and keyboard will provide more opportunities for our students to experience music in a more hands-on way and will be available to more than just our third graders; all grades can enjoy these instruments, K-4.

These materials will help my students have a hands-on approach to music and will help foster creativity and understanding.

Giving students the opportunity to create music through instruments and singing, touches all facets of childhood development: physical development, emotional development, intellectual development, social development, and creative development.
