Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My preschool students are three to five years old. My school is in sunny California where children come to school each morning ready to learn and grow! There's never a dull moment in our class. My students are busy bees moving from one interest area to another. They're eager to learn, explore, engage, and experiment with the instructional materials and centers I set up for them.
My students need instructional materials to engage with to foster their interest in technology, literacy, math, science, art, and engineering.
They also need instructional materials to support their social-emotional learning to help them grow into well-rounded individuals.
Every single one of my students deserves a fair chance at having his or her potential nurtured and fully developed. My little ones have an insatiable curiosity. It's important for me to have a class with a variety of instructional materials to meet their educational needs.
My Project
Please help me give my students the Outdoor Drum Set to foster an interest in and love of music. The Outdoor Drum Set will be immensely beneficial to my students' overall development. Engaging in music activities will help my students develop motor, social, cognitive, physical, language and literacy skills. Furthermore, in addition to the developmental benefits, engaging with the drum set will bring my students joy, heightening their emotional well-being. Playing the drum set and dancing to the music will help build my students' motor skills while allowing them to practice self-expression. Thank you for investing in early childhood education, children are the future.
