My Students

I teach in a school that celebrates learning and inclusion. I have a classroom of 14 students, with a varying array of needs and abilities. While some of my students are learning to read and write, others are still learning to communicate and navigate successfully through their daily routines.

Early intervention pre-k is my passion!

I love to find new and exciting ways to get my students engaged in academic tasks, where I can reach all students no matter their abilities.

My Project

Our students enjoy music and books on CD. However due to our limited supplies, we are only able to play music through one loud speaker, which can disrupt students with sensory needs.

Our classroom would greatly benefit from a listening station, where our students can enjoy music of different genres, cultures, as well as our favorite recorded storybooks.

Music is a wonderful way to build connections and relationships among children, as well as explore the beauty of the world around us.

A mobile music station will allow the students to infuse music into every area of the room, creating endless learning opportunities and connections!
