I am a computer lab technician at Ladson Elementary School. I service about 140 students that are in the 4th and 5th grade each day. My computer lab assists these children with reading and math skills. The computer program that we are using does not have sound, so it often gets very boring for the students and they are easily distracted by every little noise. I would like to request a CD Player and several soothing musical (no words) CD's. I believe the background music would help the children relax and they would perform better on the activities they need to complete. The CD Player would benefit all of my students in all of my classes. I would love to give my students a more enjoyable, soothing, relaxing opportunity to learn. Our computer program assists the children so that they will perform more efficiently on our state PACT test. I believe that a CD player and music would help each of these children to achieve their highest goals. Thank you so much for your consideration.
