This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Music is how students connect with the world around them! I am trying to crowdsource to help with both my year-long programs and my trimester long. My trimester long students feel like they are just being put into busy work classes sometimes and I want them to feel like they are actually learning something worthwhile! I want to give them an experience that makes them want to come to school in the morning. These students deserve the best, let's give it to them!

My Project

The right tools for the right job! Right now the students are using print outs and copies of music that I find here and there. With the textbook, it will help the students have a sense that this is a real instrument and they are really learning music. The tuners are just that. They help the students to tune the instruments so that they can play them in tune and sound great. The pitch pipes are for my singers. They will use them to gain reference pitches so that they can work on music without having to bang it out on a piano. In this way, they will improve their overall musicianship.
