Music Essentials

My students need Percussion equipment for the Concert Band.

This project is fully funded

The school has a lot to offer the students, ranging from field experience to college level course with college level credits. Although the student population has a high percentage of at-risk students, the children here are given many opportunities they would not encounter in their life. In fact we manage to get a woodwind or brass instrument for all the students in grades 4, 5, 6, and 7th without any cost toward the parents/guardians.

Students begin to learn band instruments in 4th grade and stay with their instrument throughout their middle school career. This music and necessary items for their instruments will give them the opportunity to expand without costs to the families. This will create more opportunities for students to explore the world of music as an individual and as part of something bigger than them.

The students will be given the opportunity to increase their abilities in music. We need specifically instruments to fill our percussion section of the concert band. You will be the reason these students can have all of this. Dedication, opportunity and musicianship are all traits they learn in Band.

These students deserve the opportunity to express themselves, and be apart of a great musical group.
