Help me give my students the ability to perform, record and present all of their regularly scheduled concerts using a virtual platform.

Many of my students come from military families and their experiences are often brought into the classroom. More than 50% of the students at my school receive free or reduced-priced lunch. It is the varied backgrounds of my students that evokes wonderful classroom discussions and allows my students to learn from their peers' perspectives respectfully.
My students have a passion for music and they often use their vocal and instrumental gifts as a positive outlet to express themselves.
The music classroom is a place where students can discover their creative strengths, explore and share about various cultures, and build community.
My classroom is one that is diverse in learning styles, cultures, and interests. It is my aim to provide a 21st century learning environment for my students through the world of music.
The highlight of this past school year was teaching 150 students how to keep a steady beat while playing a complete drum set.
This pandemic has created many challenges for teachers, administrators and especially our students. Life has changed drastically for all of us and we must make these transitions as smooth as possible for our students. Teaching music has been especially difficult because of the many stipulations put in place to ensure the safety of our students and staff. However, with positive reinforcements and teamwork, we have continued to use the gift of music to uplift and inspire our students. For our students, we want to keep life as normal as we possibly can.
We want our students to still be able to perform for their peers, their teachers, their families and the community.
With the items purchased through this project, we will be able to perform, record and present high quality videos to showcase the musical abilities of our students. Although our students will sing and play in their own separate spaces, using the beauty of technology and these items, we will be able to merge the individual performances together to make collaborative performances. Best of all, our students will be able to present their regularly scheduled performances throughout the year. Please help us to keep music alive in the hearts of our students and help us bring joy in the midst of this difficult time in our world.
