Music and Movement to Spark Creativity and Learning!
Help me give my students items to make their online music learning more meaningful with recorders for our 4th and 5th graders and musical items, including instruments, to help our K - 3rd graders express their musical creativity.
Teaching online is challenging but exciting as we help facilitate individual learning paths that meet students where they are and help them achieve success at their own pace. As an educator, I believe all kids can succeed, and it is my job to ensure they do!
I am asking for help in purchasing recorders, scarves, egg shakers, a Ukulele, boomwhackers, hand drums, and bells.
The challenge online is that our students often lack access to resources they could engage with in a brick-and-mortar classroom setting, and I am limited in what I can give them due to funding. I provide a creatively rich experience for all my students online. Your donation of classroom music supplies will allow me to put items in each of my students' hands that will help them engage. Without the proper supplies, I am teaching simple projects or creating and leaving students out of the process. Help me provide opportunities for students to get an opportunity to explore and create both at home and for small group in-person learning experiences. By funding this project, you will allow me to provide unique and creative items to enrich their online learning and spark their creative thinking.
We all know that the arts are essential for students learning process. It enhances overall learning, nurtures students' well-being, and allows some who may never find their voice through academics to show what they know. It is significant for traditionally marginalized, and minority groups; our school serves a large population. Additionally, most of my students have not had exposure to different art mediums, which leaves so many master creators left behind.
