My Students

Our class is comprised of 32 extremely diverse 4th graders, representing a multitude of ethnicities. We are truly a melting pot, and this helps lay a remarkable foundation to teach youngsters about our differences and accepting everyone.

Fourth grade is when we begin to lay the foundation for self-motivated learning and getting involved in passion projects.

My students enjoy outdoor play and a portable speaker will give them able to work on the physical education while listening to age appropriate music. The portable speaker will also help in preparing for upcoming performances and be an excellent aid in the classroom. I want to foster this enthusiasm and excitement in every aspect of my student's day.

My Project

My students like to dance and sing. They want to move and enjoy their time with friends. They want to hear themselves speak through the speaker as they give a speech or sing songs.

We will be learning the recorder in the coming weeks and it would be awesome to have a speaker in which they can project their songs through.

When we encounter a class with a speaker they ask me to borrow it and allow them to continue listening to the music. That is not always something I am able to do. A speaker of our own will allow us to listen and perform on our own time.
