This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students in my class are fantastic individuals. They are a group that works very hard in order to become better at all things! Respect and love are what our class runs on.

The students in my class love all things learning, they thrive when being given a choice in their education.

Giving students choice is key and knowing that the kids have some control over their education allows the students to feel ownership over their education. I am hoping that adding music to our daily activities will open many doors for my students.

My students are some of the best people!

My Project

I have chosen these drawing pads because I want this work to be something that lasts. I want the students to study music and then draw/define what they think the song is all about. I could use regular paper but I really want this project to be something that can last the whole year. I think it is super important to expose kids to supplies that are specifically for various activities rather than using copy paper for everything. I have a feeling I will need more than what I’ve asked for but I want to see how these books will sustain us through the beginning of the year.
