Leadership High School is currently housed in a building that is condemned. While we are excited at the prospect of moving into a better facility, the idea of creating an inviting environment over the summer is overwhelming. We need help getting a jump on our new home. That is why the school would love to create some movable murals that could grace the halls when the students arrive in the fall. Students will work on these murals this spring, knowing that their artwork will be there in their new learning environment. Sketches of the murals have already been made, which include incorporating school values such as social responsibility, personal responsibility, communication and critical thinking. These school-wide outcomes are the foundation for our graduates in order to become effective leaders in their communities. We already have the paint and the brushes, all we need is the lightweight boards. Please help us bridge the transition for the students, helping them celebrate what the school is about while creating a positive atmosphere for learning.
