Multiplication Materials for Third Grade Mathematicians
My students need multiplication spinners, flash cards, dice, Expo markers, and a rolling cart for math workshop.
This project expired on June 7, 2016.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
British mathematician, Peter J. Hilton, once said, "Mathematics should be fun." I couldn't agree more!! My third graders love math, especially cooperative math games. This project will allow me to bring engaging multiplication materials to our classroom.
I am blessed to work with 19 fabulous students in a close-knit, rural community outside of Syracuse, New York.
We are a looping class (we started together in second grade and moved up to third grade together). My kids are curious about the world around them and enjoy solving their own questions through experiments and hands-on activities.
The requested materials such as dry erase markers, dice, spinners, and flash cards will be used for math center activities to help my students master their multiplication facts.
The rolling cart will be used to organize and store math materials so they will be easily accessible for my students during math workshop.
I am new to third grade and have limited multiplication resources.
The materials that I am requesting will motivate my kids to master their math facts and improve their math fluency. Thank you for your consideration in supporting our classroom.
