Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

As a teacher in a low-income school, my students are faced with challenges most students do not have to deal with. Despite what's going on around them they are very eager to learn and are always giving one hundred percent in all that they do. I would like to equip my classroom with the tools needed to help my students succeed and be the best they can be in everything they do. I want each of them to know that school can be a fun place to learn and that there are people who care about them and their education.

My Project

My goal this school year is to help each of my students to become multiplication masters. In order to do this, I am in need of enough multiplication flashcards to give each of my students to take home and practice with their family.

My students are so eager to learn their facts and I want to keep the excitement going throughout the entire school year.

Every Friday, we take a multiplication quiz and they are asked to study for the upcoming quiz each night, but unfortunately, we don't have any flashcards they can take home to practice with. I would love to have multiplication flashcards along with pouches to store them in. Thanks in advance for your support!
