Multimedia Pop Art: Printing and Painting in the Art Room!

Help me give my students printmaking inks, brayers, paint markers, sharpies, construction paper, and watercolor paints to learn about color theory and create beautiful and fun multimedia artwork!

My Project

I have the privilege of serving all students that go through my middle school. Each 6th-grade student at my school takes Art, and it is an optional elective class in 7th grade. I also serve our Advanced 7th-grade artists. My students LOVE Art and really enjoy getting to work with messy and fun materials, like paint, clay, paper mache, and large-scale projects. Close to 400 students come through my classroom in a school year, and I'd love to get their hands on some of the materials that I can't always fit into the budget and usually have to purchase in increments. My students always ask me if I have paint pens and inks, but I rarely have enough of them to go around in some of my larger classes.

My students and I would really appreciate your help with getting our multimedia pop art projects started.
