Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

All of the students receive free breakfast and lunch at our Title I school. The majority of my students come from low-income families.

My kindergarten and transitional kindergarten students are sweet and energetic.

They are kind, compassionate children who care for everyone around them. They are enthusiastic and inquisitive. They enjoy learning cognitive and social skills. They work hard and love to be challenged.

My Project

Early childhood is a critical time when children begin forming ideas about the world they live in. It is a time to teach children to be proud of who they are and have respect for peers who may be different.

Your contribution will help me teach young children to respect and celebrate differences in race, religion, language, and traditions.

The multicultural library will help me teach children about the everyday lives of children around the globe. They will explore the different food, music, and customs around the world. They will learn to appreciate the differences that make everyone unique.
