Help me give my students the Boogie Board Magic Sketch Kits and the protective covers. These will give my students another option when practicing their writing and learning of letters.
My classroom serves students from Transition Kindergarten to 2nd grade. The students' handicapping conditions range from mild to moderate with learning disabilities, autism, intellectual disabilities, auditory and/or visual processing disorders, and some with behavior challenges.
My students crave different modes of instruction delivery and supports.
They require differentiation in delivery of instruction, seating options, manipulatives, etc. They enjoy exploring and working with hands on activities that keeps them engaged. The seating options allow them to feel comfortable and meets their sensory needs.
My Project
My students crave different modes of instruction delivery and supports. With different grade levels and skill sets each student possess, these tools are flexible and fluid to each individual learner.
The learning games/activities will give the students different and fun ways to learn their letters and numbers all while building strength in their fine motor abilities which will eventually transfer over to their writing activities.
Research says that kiddos with learning disabilities need at least 200 repetitions before it will retain. It's nice to provide my students different options of exposure to the same content to keep it fresh and different.
The Boogie Board Magic Sketch LCD Writing Tablet with Stencils will allow the students to freely write and erase without the use of dry erase markers. The LCD screen is crisp and easy to use. The stylus mimics the pencil. The covers will keep the tablets safe and protected.
