Multi-Ethnic Family Figurines and Weighted Wristbands

Help me give my students family figurines (of different ethnicities!) to help them talk about their problems, and weighted wrist bands to help them calm.

My Students

My K-8 students are at a small Title I school and live in poor rural community. Many of our 100+ students come from very hard home circumstances that effect their success in school.

Our school is committed to helping students improve social/ emotional regulation and there is great need for helping them to learn about emotions and how to interact positively with others.

Staff at our little school is very committed to going above and beyond for the students here and are so motivated to help these kiddos succeed. We have small class sizes and amazing support staff and will do whatever it takes to help our kids succeed.

My Project

I see the most troubled children in my counseling room. I currently lack any type of dolls/ family figurines to help children play though their stressors.

I would love this set to make role play more fun, help the youngest students show me what is wrong, and to just unwind in the counseling room.

These figurines are made for schools and have a 10 year warrantee, making them more expensive, but they will last!

I am also requesting some fun wrist/ ankle weights to help calm our young friends when they are really wound up. Thank you for your conisderation.
