Help me give my students jumbo pencils, Super Duper Publications Superhero Stickers, Superhero labels, Teacher Created Resources 10 pocket chart, Superhero mini stickers, BIC Wite-Out EZ Correct Correction Tape, Scotch Thermal laminating pouches, swingline electric stapler, and more!
My students attend a Title I school in a very high poverty and highly transient area of Polk County, Florida. Our school receives one hundred percent free or reduced-price lunch. Our school has a large number of students in foster care or who are considered homeless. We received many new students from Puerto Rico last year and then again this year.
Our school has almost 2,000 students who are mostly from low income families, there are many things our kiddos come to school needing each day.
Our school went from a "D" school to a "C" last year but is in a high turnover area due to being so near many fruit farms, many of our families are seasonal migrant workers.
Our school is still new and we are on our third principal in 3 years.
In a high poverty area, our students need so much. Thank you for your consideration.
My Project
My students will benefit from the stickers because students of all ages will work so hard for a sticker!
Anything that I request as supplies gets used by both of my 4th grade classes, they have full access to all of the office/craft supplies in my cabinets.
The laminating pouches are for laminating important resources for their binders, the electric stapler is for the students who struggle with a standard stapler so that they can be independent, the jumbo pencils are for my ESE students to assist with handwriting.
We will be learning cursive soon, and for that we write in pen. The whiteout will assist them while learning from their mistakes.
