I am so excited to be working with my students for this upcoming year! As an Exceptional Student Services/Special Education teacher, I am so passionate about making sure that my students are given the tools they need to engage in my classroom. Every student can benefit from the tools that I am asking for in this project, but my neurodiverse students especially benefit from different ways to accommodate them in the classroom.
My students are so wonderfully bright and creative, and your donation will not only help them succeed but show them that there are so many people who care about them and their capabilities.

My Project
These items will help sustain my classroom here in the new year. We currently only have a few pairs of working headphones, and new headphones are essential for our room, as they are a required part of our computer time and an essential for my students to be able to listen to books and participate on their recording quizzes. I am also in need of more kinetic sand and a pencil sharpener as they have been broken through this year.
We are now in the new year and wear and tear is a real problem in my room.
Many pairs of headphones are broken as well as my pencil sharpener and kinetic sand. Your help will sustain us until the end of the year.
