My Students

My students are eager to learn! They love walking into a classroom that has high energy and lots of options. My students love whatever the new trend is for kids. My students learn best when they feel they are in a fun environment. Most of my students live in poverty so I feel like it is my job to give them a classroom they enjoy coming to! My students learn be having different options to choose from in the classroom.

My Project

Children need a fun environment to perform their learning. My current classroom does not have a theme. I would like to give my classroom a theme that the students will enjoy. Students look forward to school when they enter a joyful classroom. I would like to have a tropical classroom and one of my ideas is having a tiki umbrella. This will have seats underneath the ubmbrella and will allow students to sit down under the umbrella and enjoy reading books while pretending they are somewhere tropical.

Allowing students to pretend they are somewhere other than a "school classroom" will give them more motivation to come to school and learn!
