My Students

As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences. I Am looking to enhance my students capability of using technology and learning from in the classroom. I want to be able to give my students experiences they may not have outside of the classroom.

My Project

My students need I pads for games and activities that focus on the alphabet, letter recognition, and writing, as well as math manipulative to explore with at Learning Center time.

Our students will use these materials to explore their ability through building, drawing, counting, making letters and sounds, and then words!

These activities will be used during Learning Center times throughout the day as we read and write while learning together.

This will also help students with letter recognition, spelling, identifying colors and being able to use technology in the classroom. This will enhance their ability to learn and experience technology.
