This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Hello! I have a thriving and energetic class of 19 Kindergartners! They love to play games with each other, have fun while learning, and overall be an amazing bunch of 5-6-year-olds!

They have been the most amazing group to start my first year of teaching with!

All 19 are passionate, curious, and creative and they need the resources to feed their drive. I would like to give them the items and materials they need to succeed inside my classroom because most of them may not have them at home.

My Project

These headphones will be used on our classroom iPads during literacy stations and mathematics stations. They will also be used during RTI time for students to access their personalized learning platform to complete assignments and make progress in their profile. The availability of headphones to use on iPads will cause fewer distractions in the room from each other and students that are not on technology.

It will also make transitions easier so that students are not arguing over which headphones they use because they will all be the same.

My students will fully appreciate the gift of new headphones as that will be one less worry in the classroom during rotations.
