Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach mild - severe special education to 3rd and 4th grade students. They love picture books and tactile learning. Many are English language learners with a Spanish language background. They love to learn and I want to provide them with the resources for them to reach their goals!
My Project
I chose to purchase items specifically to teach social, emotional, and behavioral skills. My students abilities range from mild - severe needs. Many of my students work best when they have flexible seating options, hands on learning, and manipulatives.
As a first year teacher, I am building my classroom library and looking for resources for students to practice reaching goals with such as curriculum workbooks, whiteboards, library books, files and book bins and more!
