My Students
My students are curious, ask questions, and like to make sense of the world. They are resourceful, take initiative, and like to be leaders. They absolutely love to figure things out on their own. They are able to make good judgments and put all the pieces together to get the bigger picture. Thankfully they enjoy working as a team, are helpful, rely on each other, and are kind.
Our school is high in poverty, and very diverse.
The students come to school ready to learn every day, do their best, and are never scared to ask questions. I love the passion behind my students!
My Project
My students are in need of books for our classroom library. Many of my students have not had the chance to experience wildlife, the ocean, or world events. I would love to expand my classroom library with books to build their minds. I am sure the students would love it too!
By reading National Geographic Kids books, my students will be able to experience and imagine things in the world around them.
These books will also support the science content taught in my class, and give them a better understanding of the material. The other books I have selected are just as important, as the student will have a great variety to choose from.
