This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are exceptional! They are very energetic and very eager to learn. My students are from a very rural and low socioeconomic area in Central Mississippi. They work extremely hard and try their best to meet my high expectations. They are always eager to learn and apply what they know to complete various tasks. Since my students work hard, I want to give them the best educational experience.

My Project
These materials will make a big difference in creating center activities. This supplies will also help those parents who cannot afford some of the supplies the students have to bring to school.
Supplies will create wonderful centers and make my classroom more engaging to my wonderful scholars.
My scholars will be able to use the highlighters and pens to highlight important information, vocabulary words, and take notes. The board will be used to remediate students and better assist my lower level learners. These supplies (staplers, tape, whiteout, scissors) will be used in various center activities. The pointer will be used for lecturing students and allowing them to correct various problems for classroom examples and board illustrations. Sticky notes will be used when students have to label text features in a book or a magazine. All of the supplies will be used to help engage my scholars in different ways.
