Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This is my second year of teaching, and I am ready to make this the best year for my students ever! My goal to is provide my students with some supplies that might be harder to come by and utilize some of these supplies for our newly implemented curriculum. My classroom will be increasing in size this year, and many of our supplies were used up towards the end of last year, and I want to replace the supplies that my students loved and used last year.

I work at a Title 1 school, and many students struggle to purchase such supplies as folders, notebooks, and pencil cases, as well as bring their own snacks.

All of these supplies are included in my list, along with a document camera which is a integrally proven piece of technology. Students are able to shop for supplies such as pencils, erasers, colored pencils, scissors, and glue sticks at a fair at our school, but these supplies are just as important, yet harder to come by due to price.
