My students need a printer, laminator, and printing supplies to be able to create, print, display, edit, and share their work with their peers and families.
My classroom is full of unique students ready and willing to learn. As fifth graders, they are technology crazed and technology savvy. They are adapt to change. They are passionate about their own interests and each student comes from a completely different background in our diverse community. No matter their background, they are the leaders of our building. They possess the responsibilities and character traits needed to succeed today, tomorrow, and every day, near or far, in their future. They are world changers!
My Project
These resources will greatly help my fifth grade students.
These resources will help my students create, print, edit, display, and share their work (essays, collages, brochures, mind maps, and other masterpieces) with their peers and families.
Having a printer readily available in our classroom will not only allow me to print useful resources for my students, but it will also give my students the privilege of instantly printing their research (great for highlighting facts), pictures, essays, projects, collages, and so much more. With this ability, my students can use more technology and will have the ability to instantly print their work. They will be able to print their essays for instant peer editing and revisions. This will also help them become more technology savvy and prepare them for their future. The possibilities are endless! The ink cartridges and paper are necessary for running the printer properly.
A laminator will give me the ability to preserve and protect student work so they can keep it for years to come. It will also allow me to protect and preserve manipulatives, center materials, task cards, and more which I create myself for my students.
