My Students

My students are book-loving, avid readers, and enthusiastic learners. At our school we strive to foster a love of reading in all students. Every child has capabilities, talents, and strengths; sometimes, all it takes is exposure or motivation. The students in my class strive for excellence. They all inherently care about one another and continually make an effort to improve in all aspescts. I have a total of 40 amazing students in They all have a think win-win attitude and do their personal best to contribute to our classroom community.

My Project

My students will be reading every day in my class as a part of their year long independent reading project. As a first year teacher my existing collection of books is severely limited. Our school's library is also limited in the availability of new reading material. Having a wide selection of books for my students to choose from throughout the year will be a vital part of keeping them engaged and fostering a love of reading. Your donation will not only benefit my current students but many more students for years to come. Thank you so much for your support!
