My students need leveled books for the classroom. This is my first full year teaching first grade, so I am short on the correct level of books for these kiddos!

My Students

First graders usually come to school with excitement and a willingness to learn, and I love to foster that. One of the best ways to do that is to have the supplies needed and readily available for the students to learn.

I love seeing a student light up when they learn a new word or read a book that they thought was "too hard" for them.

When these students enter the classroom, I want them to feel welcome and excited to start a new day each and every day.

My Project

Being a new first grade teacher, I am low on appropriate books for my future students. A first grader grows so much throughout the year, especially in reading, and I want to be able to support and foster his or her growth as they grow at their own pace!

I know that this selection of books will be of great interest to many students on multiple reading levels.

By donating to this project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and interest, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement and success in first grade!
