I am an ELL teacher in a poverty-stricken city. My students are refugees and asylum seekers from war-torn countries and have come here for a better life.
The children are five and six years old and melt my heart on a daily basis.
They come to school eager to learn to read like the "big kids." They love learning! They are full of life and love everything we do. Any help you can give us in our learning adventure we'd greatly appreciate.
My students are at the beginning stages of learning to read. It is all very new and exciting to them! Since I teach three different grade levels in my very small space, having a mobile book bin to house our books would be a tremendous help.
Little ones love to read with REAL books!
They love the bright, colorful pictures and familiar patterns of real trade books. (The gray scale, photocopied books on paper just do not hold their interest.) With this mobile stand and bin set, we could display and read (and reread!) our books again and again! Thank you for your support. <3
