Hello! Students at my school are kind, respectful, and hard working! They collaborate well with others and follow the seven habits! Our students are all at varying levels for reading, and with this small group instruction is key. I am always looking for books that are at varying levels and interests for my students, to help with reading growth. Series are a great way to get a student interested in reading, and a lot of the series I have registered for are motivating for my students!
My Project
Reading is a skill that all students need, however this can be a challenging topic to teach when students are not interested.
Many books of mine are old, and falling apart.
I need to replace books and add high-interest books for my students. Many of the series that I registered for are very interesting for students and motivate them to continue to read. With these series, I can provide book clubs for my students, and also incorporate these books into a listen to reading center. Having books that are interesting to students, can push them to read above their reading level, and exposes them to new vocabulary.
