My Students

My students from Greenville, SC are part of a special education program that involves inclusion and pull-out services. They learn in a variety of ways! They love to move around; therefore, traditional desks and chairs are not very conducive for their learning. They like to move and spread out while reading, but our classroom does not have the proper furniture to support that need.

All of my students love to learn, just not in the traditional sense of learning.

I want to give them every opportunity possible to succeed. I want to insure that every child's needs are met right where they are. I am very thankful for my students and my school, and I cannot wait to introduce alternative seating to them.

My Project

These alternative seating options will allow my students to learn at their full potential. They like to move and spread out! The wobble stools will allow them to bounce and move while learning. The sofa will allow them to work comfortably with partners and relax while reading a book. These seating options will allow my students to learn in a comfortable, inclusive environment.

These donations will help my students learn how they learn best, while moving and not sitting still!
