My students make me laugh!!! I believe education should be fun. Not just sitting around taking notes. We joke around with one another, however, when its time to be serious about the class they respond by working hard.
I love discussions and this being a World Geography class, they are curious about "what's happening in the world today Mrs. G-Ross?".
These teens keep me on my toes. They look at things on T.V. or from the internet in wonder. They are curious about the world in general. They are mainly from low income homes and have never left the state or parish.
Keeping informed with what’s happening around school is important to our high school students. Our multimedia class broadcast daily news reports throughout the school.
The system that our school currently uses is antiquated.
This system hangs above students heads. In order for our school to update the system, new televisions are needed throughout the school.
Through the student run multimedia program “Telepossion”, students are reminded of important deadlines, students’ success, and upcoming events both academic and athletic. They sit in anticipation, waiting to hear their name for an academic achievement, a sport they participated in, or just to hear their birthday being announced. A new television in my classroom will ensure that my students will be able to watch “Telepossion” on the updated system.
