My students need color papered for their interactive journals. I would love to have an extra iPad in my room so that when I do groups, each person in the group can work on an iPad.
This year I have a group of about 50 students. Each student is very unique in their own way. I have students ranging from all levels of learning. They are very energetic and love to work in groups.
My district is a title 1 district, which is a school that serves students who are considered economically disadvantaged.
Our school provides free lunches and breakfast to all students. Parents provide us with what they can as far as supplies go. Anything outside of what they provided, the school, or myself provide the rest.
My Project
In my class we use interactive journals every day. The students love having colored paper to make their journals pop! They take pride in these journals that are full of skills and vocabulary for them to study with daily.
With technology replacing text books, it is important that we have as much technology to put in the student's hands as possible.
One extra iPad will ensure that all of my students will be able to work together with the iPads when we are using flexible groups and centers. The charging station will allow for a neat and safe place to charge the iPads when they are not in use.
