"I want to make a difference" is always my response when people ask me why I want to teach. My students come from all different backgrounds, but they all get really excited when they learn a new topic.
Every student has the ability to learn.
I teach at a Title 1 school in North Carolina. I teach a diversity of students, but they all have one thing in common: they are eager to learn. My students all deserve the same education.
My Project
Every year my students come into third grade with the sense of being overwhelmed. It breaks my heart every year with the thought that they have such high expectations due to testing. I want to create a positive, stress free classroom where my third graders are able to explore and learn to their fullest potential.
Having a classroom where students want to learn is essential for student's learning.
I will use the carpets and curtains to add color in my classroom. I want to use essential oils to provide a sense of calmness so students will not be overwhelmed. I have chosen these items to make an ultimate classroom for my students.
