My students need the Blusmart Laminator so we can laminate and reuse games across the curriculum. The US Map carpet is for a reading nook. The Gaiam balance balls are for the wiggliest kids!
My class is a unique community! I teach second grade in a culturally and economically diverse school. Each year we create a safe, fun, and encouraging environment for a variety of learning needs.
I have an average of 25 students each year.
Within that group, I will have students new to America who don't speak English, students with attention and anxiety disorders, students who receive free or reduced lunch, average students and excelling students.
Despite our differences, we are family!

It will allow kids to play familiar games across the curriculum throughout the year. The US Map carpet will be added to my reading nook to create a cozy spot for kids to read. The Gaiam balance balls will be used by my wiggliest kids during work time. They are easy enough to move around from the teacher's table to student desks. The magnets will be used to display amazing student work!
