My Students

My students are very diverse. I have a handful of students who are exceeding the expectations and the majority who a struggling whether it be due to home life, academics, maturity, or learning disabilities.

I teach in a rural community southwest Arkansas.

My classroom is a very safe and comfortable environment. I have 19 students in my class—10 boys and nine girls. My student population is very diverse. 14 out of my 19 students qualify for free or reduced lunch.

My Project

The large chart tablets are going to better help me model writing, make class collaborative charts, use of poems, etc. The dice will be used in my guided reading groups for "Roll and Read" interventions, as well as in centers. We will use them for math as well to demonstrate addition and subtraction.

The donations will be very beneficial for my students.

The resources are going to allow me to better teach the skills and give the students manipulatives to use. The students will be able to master the skill, which in turn will make them successful academically.
