Help me give my students some items to keep our classroom clean. It is flu season and that means a lot of germs! We also do not have a pencil sharpener that functions.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach in a low income urban school district. My students have limited resources in school and in the home. The materials we have in school are often times used, old, broken or do not exist. Most of the resources in my room such as paper and folders to pencils and books come from my own paycheck, since students and their families cannot afford such resources. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated from both my students and myself. Thank you!
My Project
Since our school is in a low income area, I pay out of my pocket for the majority of the materials in my classroom. It is flu season (and very cold and icky) and I could use materials to help keep the classroom germ free as much as possible. I also teach middle school and have issues with students not knowing about hygiene and I would like to educate them about it, but it can be costly. Lastly, we do not have a functioning pencil sharpener and rely on mini hand held sharpeners. Please help fulfill my classes wish list!
