My students are so very unique! I have students in my class that are very diverse, whether it's their home life, different needs, or personalities. They embrace their differences, yet are very good at accepting others differences.
My students are the future.
I have so many students that have such big dreams of the things they are wanting to be when they grow up. They want to be teachers, doctors, lawyers, NBA basketball players, plumbers, good parents, cosmetologists and everything in between. I have no doubt that the students in my room will change the world one day.
My Project
The largest portion of this project is for more flexible seating in my classroom. Flexible seating gives the option of comfort that the students need in order to be able to help them focus better. The flexible seating option gives students the power of choice and to feel empowered as well. This year, it seems students have had a harder time staying seated for so long, so this gives them the freedom to work their wiggles out!
COVID-19 has impacted our students on such a great scale.
Another major portion of my project is to help support academics. I have books for them to share, in order to support us reading together as a class more, as well as games to help make learning for them more enjoyable!
